Securboration

| 10/18/2012

There’s a good reason that Melbourne-based Securboration rarely makes the news, other than in obscure journals or defense publications. Few understand what the research firm does. The U.S. Navy recently awarded the privately held Brevard company a contract to help it rapidly sift through streaming data such as news feeds and social media to extract and summarize critical information. Founded in 2001, Securboration — combining security and collaboration — employs dozens of computational linguistic experts, programmers and others capable of taking on assignments in cyber warfare, modeling and simulation.
