Bottled Ocean’s Key West Lagoon at the Gaylord Palms resort in Kissimmee includes a 90-pound tarpon.

When Nemours Children’s Hospital opens at Lake Nona this fall, the pediatric patients, visitors and staff can relax to the sight of fish swimming in a colorful coral-filled aquarium. The 1,500-gallon tank — 16 feet long and 10 feet tall — is another outsized project of Bottled Ocean. The Orlando aquatic management firm founded in the mid-1990s has made a splash nationwide in recent years. It crafted a 5,600-sq.-ft. swamp exhibit in New York City’s Chelsea Market earlier this year to promote a History Channel show about Louisiana gator hunters and is on track for record revenue of more than $1.2 million.
