Florida Trend magazine is launching the first statewide competition to find the “Best Companies to Work for in Florida.” Participation in this program is free* and open to companies with at least 15 full-time or part-time, regular employees in Florida. The list of “Best Companies to Work for in Florida” will be published in August 2009 in Florida Trend.
 Registrations are now being accepted.

Program Overview
Step 1: Authorized company representatives may register their company by filling out the registration form. Registrations are due by January 30, 2009.
Step 2: Eligible companies will be immediately notified by Best Companies Group whether they are able to participate in this year's survey and selection process.
Step 3: Companies that qualify to move forward in the survey and selection process will receive an Employer Questionnaire to complete online.
Step 4: Employers will be asked to submit a full set of employee e-mail addresses. Best Companies Group will randomly select the e-mail addresses used for an online Employee Satisfaction and Engagement Survey. Employees will be asked to assess their workplace experience in the following eight categories:

| 3. Role Satisfaction |
7. Pay & Benefits |

8. Overall Employee Engagement. |
Step 5: Florida Trend and Best Companies Group will notify the winners in Spring 2009. Some will be interviewed for print and online features. All participating companies will receive a basic, one-page “Participation Report” at no charge. Participants will also have the opportunity to buy a full “Employee Feedback Report.”
Step 6: The winners in each of the small, medium and large categories will be announced, along with their rankings, in the August 2009 issue of Florida Trend magazine, on www.FloridaTrend.com/BestCompanies and on www.BestCompaniesFL.com.
