» More than 100 lawyers have applied to become Florida’s first-ever board certified intellectual property attorneys. The Florida Bar created the specialty this year to meet growing demands from businesses wanting to protect intellectual property, such as customer lists, proprietary data, product names, trademarks, slogans and website content. James A. Gale of Feldman Gale in Miami will lead the Bar’s intellectual property certification committee. The 106 applicants’ first board exam is set for Oct. 1.
