At KTT, a commercial litigation firm, Bernice Lee was appointed receiver by a U.S. district court over MJ Capital Funding and three related companies in a $200 million Ponzi scheme that defrauded thousands. She recovered millions, obtained a $26 million settlement, testified at a trial that returned a guilty verdict and guided a process in which over 10,000 claims have been filed. The Daily Business Review named her a 2023 Unsung Hero. Lee mentors young members of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of South Florida.
