He also has grown the firm for years as president and conducts an intellectual property trial practice that includes patents, trade secrets, deceptive practices and restrictive covenants. Gilchrist volunteers at the Orange County Legal Aid Society and has represented more than 100 abused and neglected children as a guardian ad litem.
