The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce Expands to Serve Growing Business

The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce announced today a new collaboration with Thrive Coworking DTSP creating a new environment for start-ups and small businesses to connect with each other and the services and programs of the Chamber.

“We’ve learned over the past 15 months during COVID that our small business community requires, deserves and demands more ways and places to get the education, training, connections and innovations to grow and scale good businesses” said Dr. Sri Sundaram, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce.

Strategically set on the same campus as the St. Petersburg Greenhouse, the Chamber’s Thrive Center will be housed at Thrive Coworking DTSP (136 4th St North) and offers a place for more collaborative space for the business community to interact.

The Thrive Center augments the offerings of the St. Petersburg Greenhouse, a partnership between The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Petersburg – formed nine years ago to address the needs of small businesses. The Greenhouse is St. Pete’s home of small business empowerment, encouraging the entrepreneurial mindset and creating economic opportunity for all.?

“Our City and Our Chamber have made incredible advances towards our goal of being the best place on earth for small businesses – In partnership we have worked diligently to curate community and build the ecosystem necessary to support business growth. This new pilot of creative space, strategic partnerships and established resources offers the next steps to the St. Pete experience” says Kim Vogel, VP of Entrepreneurial Advancement + Business Growth for the St Pete Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber members along with growing businesses will benefit from the opportunity to meetup and connect, while being offered networking opportunities and peer-to-peer support. The Thrive Center also is home to the recently relocated headquarters of CodeBoxx, a training academy for those wanting to pursue careers in coding and web development.

“TJM Properties, Inc. is thrilled to continue supporting the dynamic and unique business community in the City of St. Pete,” says Matt Bradley, with TJM. “We’ve long seen the potential for business growth here, and joining forces with the Chamber of Commerce to support the development of companies is exactly what Thrive DTSP Coworking is all about: collaboration, cooperation and community building.”
