After traveling around the world and competing on “The Amazing Race,” Brian Kleinschmidt has a different perspective on life’s challenges, like trying to build new homes on a strict schedule in the new HGTV series “100-Day Dream Home.”

Anyone who has built or renovated a home knows to expect their projects will take longer than expected.

But Kleinschmidt and his wife, Mika, are delivering on their promise to go “from foundation to front door” in just 100 days on the projects they have developed in the Tampa Bay area.
