Barber Klein Contractors awarded USCG RMACC Contract

Jacksonville, Florida 06/28/2019 — Barber Klein Contractors was awarded the Regional Multiple Award Construction Contract (RMACC) Region 7 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) United States Coast Guard. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with task order limits ranging from $2,000 to $7M. The contract is for a period of seven years (base year with six option years) having a capacity of $125,000,000.

The Department of Homeland Security’s multiple award contract will meet the majority of DHS’s infrastructure needs for maintenance, repair, and construction. The scope of work includes real property repairs, maintenance, and general construction, marine construction,

demolition, historical restoration, and remediation. Facilities include, but are not limited to, operations buildings, hangars, boat houses, firing ranges, residential and light commercial buildings and their mechanical and electrical systems, site utilities, waterfront facilities, electronic surveillance/security construction, dredging, and airports/runways. Design-Build, One-Step Turnkey (Design-Build), and Design/Bid/Build project delivery methods will be used.
