Diagnosed with autism, Tagliareni is engaged to her mixed doubles tennis partner, Ryan Smith.

The Florida pair are set to compete in the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Smith, also diagnosed with autism, won two gold medals at the Special Olympics' 2018 USA National Summer Games. He met Tagliareni in 2013.

Together with their friends and families, the couple is a strong source of support for each other.
