Early childhood therapy advances in Northeast Florida

With a $1.24-million grant from the U.S. Department of Education, the University of Florida is now creating a program to prepare more therapists to work with disabled infants and toddlers; United Parcel Service $196-million expansion at its distribution center at Jacksonville’s Westside Industrial Park increases from about 532,000 square feet to 908,000 square feet; Franklin, Tenn.-based Bristol Development Group plans to spend more than $60 million to develop Vista Brooklyn, a highrise apartment project in downtown Jacksonville.
