Pasco County Utilities Supports Customers in Crisis

PASCO COUNTY, FL ---- During the Federal Government shutdown, Pasco County Utilities (PCU) is working to help federal employees, who are also PCU customers, develop an action plan to ensure continuation of services. PCU will waive late fees and provide extensions for utility bills due by any federal employee who is on furlough or is required to work without compensation, as long as supporting documentation is provided.

Pasco County recommends that customers in crisis develop an action plan with a PCU Team Member as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary interruptions in service. Customers in need of assistance can contact a PCU Team Member at 813.235.6012 during regular business hours.

Pasco County Utilities has a long-standing mission to support customers and provide high-quality water, wastewater, reclaimed water and solid waste services. Customers experiencing financial crisis are always encouraged to connect with a PCU Team Member who can help tailor a unique action plan to address each individual’s needs.

If you’re a PCU customer and would like to help a neighbor in need, please consider joining Project Round-up. The project is a combined effort between PCU and Pasco County’s Human Services Division designed to address on-going community needs, by inviting utilities customers to ‘round up’ their bill payment to the nearest dollar.
