Florida algae crisis: Mayors ask to expand state of emergency

Florida politicians are calling for action in hopes of opening up additional aid to offset the damage caused by the toxic algae blooms and red tide that persists in the region. Six mayors are asking the county to expand the state of emergency Gov. Orlando retail jobs rate above national average

Orlando is beating the national average when it comes to more retail jobs. More than 66,000 retail jobs were created in the U.S. between last June to this July, according to the National Retail Federation.
