Florida ranked #45 out of 51 (51 states plus the District of Columbia).

The top 5 best states to have a baby are Vermont, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Connecticut and North Dakota.

To determine the most ideal places in the U.S. for parents and their newborns, WalletHub’s analysts compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 20 key measures of cost, health care accessibility and baby-friendliness.
