The Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges awarded Beacon College's board of trustees the 2017 AGB John W. Nason Award for Board Leadership for negotiating an arduous leadership change. Beacon is the first college or university accredited to award bachelor's degrees primarily to students with learning disabilities, ADHD and other learning differences.
