Despite worries about tariffs, waning consumer confidence, and the immigration enforcement crackdown, the cruise business is floating above the concerns. Pensacola ranked as one of the top U.S. cities on the rise

Pensacola was ranked by LinkedIn as one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the U.S. in its inaugural “cities on the rise” list. UF researchers say discovery could pave the way for universal cancer vaccine

University of Florida researchers have stumbled upon a discovery they say could lead to development of a universal vaccine that can jumpstart the immune system to fight cancer. A study, published today in Nature Biomedical Engineering, showed that an experimental mRNA vaccine boosted resistance to tumors when paired with common anticancer drugs in mice. St. Petersburg insurer could take on 32,000 Citizens policies in the fall

Mangrove Property Insurance Co. could assume up to an additional 32,000 Citizens Property Insurance Corp. policies in the final quarter of this year, adding to the 50,000 it has already taken on. The assumption of the latest batch of policies would happen in October, November and December. The St. Petersburg company made the announcement Thursday, saying it was approved to assume about 81,000 Citizens policies this year. More from the Business Observer.

This big, pink coffee cup on wheels is slinging drinks around Tampa and beyond

The cup is larger than a phone booth. It’s bubblegum pink. And if you live in the suburbs of Tampa, it might be right outside your front door. The Big Coffee Cup Cafe made its grand debut about a month ago in Hillsborough neighborhoods like Citrus Park and Westchase. At first, folks found the coffee stand from buzzy videos on Instagram. Thanks to the eye-catching silhouette and the long lines that follow it, it’s become something of a traveling roadside attraction.
