Gators Repeat

ATLANTA -- Florida's players passed on millions to make memories.

After winning the 2006 national championship, the Gators' future NBA stars returned to school to make history. They talked about it all season. On Monday night at the Georgia Dome, the Gators entered the record books.

Florida beat Ohio State 84-75 in front of a crowd of 51,458 to become the first team since Duke in 1992 to win consecutive national championships. Even more historically remarkable, the Gators became the first team in NCAA Division I men's college basketball history to repeat as champions with the same starters.
