» A public/private partnership of Delray Beach Housing Authority and Auburn Development Group plans to develop the Villages of Delray, a $200-million, 50-acre, mixed-use, mixed-income community with 1,000 homes and apartments.

» Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust recently bought a 537-acre parcel in the Florida Research Park in northern Palm Beach County that has been approved for more than 6.2 million square feet of industrial space.

» Developer Iñigo Ardid recently announced plans for 400 Sunny Isles, a resort-residential development in Sunny Isles Beach north of Miami. The 230-unit development includes marina slips and a waterfront activity center.

» St. Joe Co. (NYSE-JOE) recently entered an alliance with Shea Homes to build homes in Victoria Park, St. Joe’s active-adult community in DeLand. Under the agreement, Shea Homes will purchase up to 705 home sites.
