› Florida Supreme Court tosses Duke Energy solar case back to regulators
In an unusual move, the state Supreme Court on Friday said utility regulators need to revise a decision that approved a controversial Duke Energy Florida solar energy program, saying the regulators’ decision “leaves the court guessing as to the reasoning.” The Supreme Court’s order came in a challenge to the Florida Public Service Commission’s decision to approve the Duke program.

› Florida gallery owner charged with peddling fake art pieces
A Florida gallery owner has been arrested on federal charges for peddling fake art pieces, claiming the cheap reproductions were in fact originals by Andy Warhol, Banksy, Roy Lichtenstein, Jean-Michel Basquiat and others, federal prosecutors said. A complaint filed in South Florida federal court Thursday accuses Palm Beach art dealer Daniel Elie Bouaziz of mail fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering in his alleged scheme to sell forged copies of high-end art.

› UCF close again to naming rights deal for football stadium
For the third time in the last two years, the Bounce House is moving closer to getting a new name. The UCF Board of Trustees is scheduled to hold a special meeting 11:30 a.m. Tuesday with only one item of new business on the agenda: naming of the UCF Football Stadium. The UCF Athletics Association Board of Directors met this past Monday to approve a proposal from UCF athletics director Terry Mohajir to finalize a naming rights agreement for the stadium that is worth $19.5 million over 10 years between UCF and the naming partner, according to the UCFAA meeting agenda.

› Beach Theatre to hold June outdoor film series amid renovations
For the first time since closing a decade ago, the historic Beach Theatre is finally showing movies again. For now, it’s happening outside. As renovations continue at the building at 315 Corey Ave., The Beach Theatre and the city of St. Petersburg are hosting a summer film series at Horan Park. Titled “Judy at 100,” the series features movies from Judy Garland’s filmography on each Wednesday in June.
