› Busch Gardens sets Iron Gwazi opening date, previews
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced an opening date for its Iron Gwazi roller coaster. The thrill ride will open to the public March 11. The theme park said it would have phased previews of the ride for annual passholders, starting with platinum-level pass members on Feb. 13. Previously, the park had narrowed down the debut to just sometime in March.

› Jacksonville-based Prosser acquired by PRIME AE Group
PRIME AE Group Inc. announced Jan. 20 it acquired Jacksonville-based planning and engineering firm Prosser Inc. Headquartered in Baltimore, PRIME AE is an engineering and architecture firm. “The firms share a similar culture, complementary capabilities and a passion for client and community service. We look forward to continuing to develop as an employer of choice with the addition of Prosser,” said PRIME AE President and CEO Kumar Buvanendaran in a news release.

› Webber’s Hot Dogs in Sarasota is changing hands
A beloved Sarasota eatery known for its grilled hot dogs and hamburgers has changed hands – and its fate is up in the air. Webber’s Hot Dogs, the chicken wing, burger and charcoal-grilled hot dog restaurant at Webber Street and Beneva Road has been sold, former owner Irwin Pastor said.

› Historic Deauville hotel will be demolished, Miami Beach official rules
Miami Beach’s building official has issued a demolition order for the historic Deauville Beach Resort following an inspection of the deteriorating hotel complex last week. In a memo Thursday, city commissioners were informed that Building Official Ana Salgueiro had “declared the demolition order for the unsafe structure of the Deauville Hotel.”
