› County Line Saloon resurrected in downtown Melbourne, 5 years after the original closed
In January 2020, the yellow County Line Saloon sign unexpectedly appeared inside the window of the former Grimaldi Candies factory, facing Strawbridge Avenue traffic in downtown Melbourne. After a lengthy renovation process, the resurrected County Line Saloon has reopened.

› Bradenton to be sued by environmental groups over 160 million gallons in sewage spills since 2018
Environmental groups will file a lawsuit in federal court against the city of Bradenton for dumping an estimated 160 million gallons of sewage into the Manatee River during the past four years. The issues stem from the aging infrastructure at Bradenton's wastewater treatment facility, which has been overwhelmed by heavy rain, causing raw andpartially treated sewage to bypass the city's treatment plantand be diverted into the Manatee River, including 13 million gallons in August alone.

› New cruise line at Port Canaveral levels up with one of world’s largest ships
Port Canaveral welcomed a fifth major cruise line less than two months ago, and it has already shifted up vessels, bringing yet another of the world’s largest cruise ships to the region. MSC Cruises said arrivederci to MSC Divina, which debuted in mid-September, and buongiorno to MSC Meraviglia this past week.

› Tampa rent drops less than 1% after months of continuous increase, study shows
The cost of housing is still high, but the latest data from Apartment List shows that November rent went down a little. Despite the drop, Tampa-area rent is still up more than 30% compared to last year. According to the Apartment List data, Tampa’s rent went down 0.6% in the month of November, but compared to prices in 2020, rent is still up 24.1%.
