State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota converts former library into Center for Advanced Technology & Innovation
State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota is working with local companies and economic developers to address workforce needs in the tech sector.
The $6-million center, established last year after SCF received $3.6 million from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, will train job candidates and help employers connect with the candidates to meet the region’s need for information technology workers.
