› Tampa General Hospital is partnering with Philips on new technology
Tampa General Hospital is partnering with Philips, the global electronics company, to update its fleet of medical equipment, from imaging to vital sign monitors, in a new partnership. The seven-year agreement will provide “millions of dollars worth" of new health care technology for the hospital, according to a press release.

› Amazon 4-star store opens at Mall at Millenia on Wednesday
An Amazon store showing off the online retailer’s top products opened Wednesday at Mall at Millenia. The Amazon 4-star store, at 4200 Conroy Road, is the first of its kind in Orlando. Its offerings are either top sellers, new and trending on the online retailer’s website or rated with at least four stars. They include kitchen products, electronics, books and toys.

› Shipping container apartments units begin landing in downtown Jacksonville
The first of three livable shipping container deliveries arrived Downtown on Sept. 18 at JWB Real Estate Capital’s Ashley Street Container Lofts project. JWB President Alex Sifakis said Sept. 21 that project contractor ShayCore Enterprises Inc. delivered containers to the site with a partial build-out complete. “There will be three ‘drops’ total,” Sifakis said in an email.

› Uber now delivers Winn-Dixie and Fresco y Más groceries in Tampa
Uber is entering Tampa’s grocery delivery scene via a new partnership with Winn-Dixie parent company Southeastern Grocers. That means Tampa shoppers can have Uber drivers deliver groceries from Winn-Dixie and Fresco y Más stores. The new delivery option is also available in Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami.
