› Miami’s historic downtown jewelry district is getting a new showcase
South Florida’s jewelers are getting a new showcase. The Metro Mall Miami is expected to open in downtown by June 2021. A year after purchasing the 104-year-old building for $15 million, Yair Levy, a New York investor and leader of the family-owned business Time Century Holdings, has revealed plans to reopen with four floors of showrooms for retailers and wholesalers and another four floors of offices at 1 NE First Street.

› Joy Mangano’s Miracle Clean, HSN, tangled in $3 million lawsuit
A Boca Raton company that created cleaning products for Miracle Mop inventor and infomercial star Joy Mangano is suing HSN, saying the television shopping network owes it millions of dollars. The Florida company, NatuReal, says in its lawsuit that it began creating the cleaning products in 2015. But shortly after they debuted on the shopping network in 2018, Mangano left HSN.
› Florida-bound Celebrity Apex completes first sea trials
The new Celebrity Cruises ship that will sail from Port Everglades this fall had a successful sea trials off the coast of France this month. Celebrity Apex, which is nearing the end of construction at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, sailed from Feb. 4-8 in the Bay of Biscay near the shipyard with 50 crew aboard to prove the vessel’s seaworthiness.
