Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Four to the Blockchain Task Force

Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointments of David Altmaier, Brad Levine, Jason Holloway and Gary Ruderman to the Blockchain Task Force.

David Altmaier

Altmaier, of Tallahassee, is the commissioner of the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. He serves as the vice president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and chair of the Financial Condition (E) Committee. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Western Kentucky University.

Brad Levine

Levine, of Boca Raton, is the president and chief executive officer of Tellus, LLC. He is a member of the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees and has served as a member of the Florida Board of Medicine. He earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Florida and his master’s degree in business administration and international finance from Schiller University in Germany.

Jason Holloway

Holloway, of Saint Petersburg, is a senior legislative assistant at the Florida Legislature. He is the chief executive officer of DLT Consulting, Inc. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida and his master’s degree in digital currencies and blockchain technology from the University of Nicosia in Cyprus.

Gary Ruderman

Ruderman, of Pompano Beach, is the owner of Ruderman and Company, PA. He is a graduate and past board chairman of Leadership Broward and the past president of the Tax Executive Institute’s Florida Chapter. Ruderman is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in taxation from Florida International University.
