Tropical Storm Patty? Wave has 80 percent chance of development, but cold front may keep it away.
A cluster of rainstorms and clouds about 200 hundred miles east of the Caribbean Sea has a high chance of becoming a late-season tropical system this week, according to the National Hurricane Center. Historically, tropical cyclones are not as likely to form in November as they are in the preceding months of the season, but it still happens.
