Distribution center on Jacksonville’s Westside could get $3.3 million incentive
A proposed $3.3 million incentive package for construction of a 1-million-square-foot distribution center at Cecil Commerce Center is headed to City Council for a vote after the Mayor’s Budget Review Committee gave its support on Monday. The agreement would make an exception to the city’s incentive policy because the average annual wage for the 250 new jobs would be $33,000, which is below the Florida average.
