Job satisfaction survey: Nearly 50 percent of Florida workers happy with jobs

Nearly half of Florida workers surveyed — 49 percent — say they’re happy with their jobs, now that there is more job security because the job market is tight, according to a new report from the Conference Board. Some workers may even be seeing higher wages, which is a factor in job satisfaction. “People have the confidence to switch jobs, and there are many opportunities out there,” said Gad Levanon, chief economist for the Conference Board. Amazon opened its new 2.4-million-square-foot warehouse in Orlando Sunday, the internet retail giant revealed on Tuesday morning.  To support younger galleries, the organizers of Art Basel have announced a sliding fee schedule for booths at its 2019 Basel, Switzerland, fair. Similar pricing will be offered at its Miami Beach fair in 2019 and its Hong Kong fair for 2020.
