Orlando's Hawkers Asian Street Fare expands to Tar Heel State

Orlando restaurant chain Hawker’s Asian Street is moving up the eastern seaboard and opening a new location in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2019. Hawkers, known for its fast-casual service of staple Asian food dishes, started in the Mills 50 district and has now expanded to four locations in Florida. More from the Orlando Sentinel.

Carnival shares sink on outlook, cost concerns

Brandon Gay can install a water heater in about 8 seconds — a feat that earned him bragging rights as the fastest maintenance technician in the country. The 36-year-old Orange County resident competed in the annual Maintenance Mania Championship in San Diego last weekend, beating 19 other finalists by performing tasks such as fixing a toilet, connecting an ice maker and installing a smoke detector.
