Orlando's Hawkers Asian Street Fare expands to Tar Heel State

Orlando restaurant chain Hawker’s Asian Street is moving up the eastern seaboard and opening a new location in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2019. Hawkers, known for its fast-casual service of staple Asian food dishes, started in the Mills 50 district and has now expanded to four locations in Florida. More from the Orlando Sentinel.

Carnival shares sink on outlook, cost concerns

Carnival Corp. shares tumbled Monday after the cruise operator gave a weaker-than-expected outlook, citing growing fuel costs. The lackluster guidance and concern over growing costs helped drag down its peers. More from the AP.

Estimates for a naming rights deal for a new Rays ballpark in Ybor City range from $3 million to $10 million per year. The final amount matters. Maintenance Mania

floridaBrandon Gay can install a water heater in about 8 seconds — a feat that earned him bragging rights as the fastest maintenance technician in the country. The 36-year-old Orange County resident competed in the annual Maintenance Mania Championship in San Diego last weekend, beating 19 other finalists by performing tasks such as fixing a toilet, connecting an ice maker and installing a smoke detector.
