Disney isn’t renowned for pioneering in real estate development but this has actually been at the heart of its parks and resorts strategy for decades. The company’s founder, Walt Disney, was so fascinated by urban development that he planned and designed EPCOT - originally called the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
