City of Port St. Lucie Building Department , City of Port St. Lucie
On March 12, 2018, the City of Port St. Lucie City Council approved the third request to reduce building permit fees based on lower cost for the administration of online building permits. In 2013, the City launched new software called PANDA. This software was developed and owned by the City allowing changes to be made instantly, at no cost. As Contractor usage of the online system increases, the staff time previously consumed with permit processing decreases. The Building Department has asked City Council to allow us to pass along these savings to our customers. Currently, 27% of all building permits are obtained online and more permit fee reductions are expected as additional permit types are added to the program. [Pictured: Joel A.
