Gov. Scott Statement

Gov. Rick Scott statement on Florida Supreme Court's denial

| 11/29/2017

Please see the statement below regarding the Florida Supreme Court’s denial of Governor Scott’s motion to disqualify Justice Barbara Pariente from the case of League of Women Voters Florida, et al. v. Rick Scott (SC17-1122). See the decision HERE.

“Governor Scott expects all judges to be fair and impartial. It is disappointing that today’s decision was made without providing any plausible justification or explanation for Justice Pariente’s comments. Given the gravity of this case, Floridians deserve better.” – John Tupps, Communications Director, Governor Rick Scott
