As one of only 19 companies among the 149 applicants nationwide to receive a prestigious Small Business Innovation Research grant, GreenTechnologies was awarded a contract for up to $100,000 to develop the company’s groundbreaking phosphorous removal technology. The company has grown through the help of the Florida SBDC at the University of North Florida and the SBA, doubling the number of employees. Sales have grown from $100,000 a year when the company started to more than $2 million.
