Healthcare industries are projected to become the largest employer in 2024

Employment is projected to grow 6.5 percent from 2014 to 2024, adding 9.8 million jobs to the U.S. economy. Healthcare occupations are expected to have the fastest growth and the most new jobs over the decade. The labor force participation rate is projected to be 60.9 percent in 2024. Florida better than average when it comes to charitable giving

Just how altruistic are Floridians? The good news is that we are above average when it comes to donating time and money to charities. Nationwide, 95.4 percent of households donate to charities, each contributing an annual average of $2,974. More at the Orlando Business Journal.

The nation’s most unequal housing market is Miami Beach

When it comes to homes in Miami Beach, the “haves” have it all. The city’s housing market is the most unequal in the U.S., according to a report from online real estate company Redfin. More at the Miami Herald.
