Florida Job Growth Grant Fund to receive nearly $23 million from state

On Tuesday, Governor Rick Scott announced nearly $23 million in awards for eleven additional Florida Job Growth Grant Fund projects across the state. The Florida Job Growth Grant Fund, established by Governor Scott and the Florida Legislature last year, provides $85 million for improving public infrastructure and enhancing workforce training in Florida. Spirit Airlines Pilots Ratify 5-Year Agreement

Gov. Scott: Lockheed Martin to Expand and Create 500 New Jobs in Orlando

Today, Governor Scott announced Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company, will be expanding in Orlando and creating 500 new jobs. The average wage of the 500 new jobs will be $87,064. The company will also invest more than $50 million in their Orlando facility. Lockheed Martin currently employs over 14,000 Floridians at 73 locations. Read more »
