According to a Manpower employment outlook survey:

• 3% of companies in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area plan to hire employees during the first quarter of 2008
• 17% expect to reduce their payrolls
• 53% expect to maintain their current staff
• 27% are not certain of their hiring plans.
