» FSU football coach Bobby Bowden announced he is retiring. Bowden, FSU’s coach since 1976, compiled more wins than any other major college coach except Joe Paterno. He won two national titles with FSU, in 1993 and 1999. Offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher will succeed Bowden.
