Talk about a market in transition. Single-family home inventory is way down. People underwater aren’t selling. Home prices are up. More than half of sales are in cash. “We keep hearing there’s a shadow inventory,” says Chip Rowland, assistant district sales manager for Keyes Co. in Weston, but “as soon as it comes on buyers are buying it.”
