A cul-de-sac lot along the Intracoastal Waterway prompted Delray Beach architect Jeffrey Silbertstein to design this Lighthouse Point house in the shape of a slice of pie. The two-story glass triangle is designed to maximize the scenic vantage point. Adjacent to the triangle is a square portion of the house, where guest bedrooms are located. Between the triangle and square segments of the 6,000-sq.-ft. home is a V-shaped glass-enclosed stairway that rises above the home’s roofline, providing a sculptural element that glows at night. Other highlights include a pool that stretches 75 feet and a canal-like water feature that follows the line of the house — indoors and out — from front entry through the stairway area toward the waterway.
