USF joins UF, FSU as preeminent university

University of South Florida System President Judy Genshaft has been on a mission to get USF on the same level as the state's two flagship schools, the University of Florida and Florida State University. On Wednesday, the mission was realized when the Florida Board of Governors' Strategic Planning Committee unanimously approved USF's status as a preeminent university.
