Retirement help

Founded in 2013 out of Orlando’s Starter Studio accelerator program, Edu(k)ate provides a “financial wellness platform” that companies can make available to their workers as an employee benefit. The platform provides retirement financial advice and resources. Edu(k) ate was one of the first companies to land an investment from the FireSpring Fund, a seed stage investment fund set up by the city of Orlando, and earlier this year raised $525,000 in venture capital. The company says its platform is being used by 300 companies and 12,000 employees nationwide.
