Spirit Airlines is encouraging passengers to vent about air travel — and offering free miles as an olive branch.

The ultra low-cost carrier said this week that it will give away 8,000 miles to anyone who submits up to 140 characters of vitriol, frustration, praise or other sentiments at HateThousandMiles.com.
