"I love figuring stuff out. Once I've figured it out, I lose interest pretty quickly."

Mark Davidson has acquired a lot of seemingly disparate skills over the years as an inventor, tinkerer, teacher and entrepreneur, which he has been able to bring together to start The Tech Toybox.

Davidson founded the nonprofit in May 2013 and moved into the Gainesville Technology Entrepreneurship Center on Hawthorne Road in February, the first tenant in GTEC since Santa Fe College took over management.
