"If I didn’t know how to do something, I would lock myself in my room until I learned it, no matter how long it took."
University of Florida third-year marketing major Jake Corday released his ClickMix phone application to the public on Jan. 28. Within the first 18 hours, he had more than 800 downloads.
ClickMix is a phone app for the iPhone and Android devices in which the user takes a picture and sends it to a friend, who receives it as a puzzle to solve.
To make it more difficult, users can apply different filters to the photo to challenge their friends. Another effect is the challenge level of solving the puzzle as a six-piece, 12-piece or 20-piece.
Once the puzzle has been solved, the user gets a standard five seconds to look at the picture before it disappears.
