Life in Miami is very different from Pensacola. Choose your workplace like you choose where you would like to live. Pause before accepting a position to be sure the company is a good fit. Make some observations when you visit. Notice office pace, configuration and dress code and ask about the company's values. A good match in the beginning is good business for the company and a good life for the employee.

The chances of landing a winning job increase for you if you are looking in a city where more positions are available.
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity tracks online job postings to determine what companies are hiring, what kind of positions they need to fill, and how many people are looking for jobs.
Major occupational groups with the most online ads in fall 2013 were sales and related occupations; healthcare practitioners and technical occupations; office and administrative support occupations; and management occupations.
