Catalogs.com

Leslie and Richard Linevsky built their Fort Lauderdale-based Catalogs.com into an 18-employee, $5-million revenue business from a base in neckties. The couple started selling neckties through a printed catalog, moved to online sales and then sold it to fund the founding of Catalogs.com in 1996, a portal for other retailers. For consumers, it’s a place to access catalog deals. For retailers, it’s a way to access potential customers who want their catalogs. Catalogs.com carries offerings from about 740 merchants. Traffic has grown 23% annually on average. The Linevskys project 20% to 25% growth this year.
