Fashion moves fast in South Florida, about 60 miles per hour.

Tailgating on the popularity of food trucks, mobile boutiques have been seen pulling up everywhere from Palm Beach to Miami-Dade counties — from office buildings and arts festivals to local bars, happy hours and private parties — filled with the latest in women's clothing and accessories.

"If you think back, it used to be that people shopped with pushcarts," said Brenda Hunter, who with daughter, Sydney Edwards,drives a mint-green 1974 Chevy step van known as the Trendy Truck. "We're the modern Avon ladies. We come to you."

The Coral Springs mother-and-daughter duo made their debut last month at the F.A.T. Village Artwalk, where passers-by stopped and climbed inside to try on dresses.
