Smooth sailing in Florida vote . . . so far

Florida voters queued up before dawn Tuesday to cast their ballots as long lines began forming at some precincts across the state. There were no early reports of significant problems as voters in the largest swing state chose between President Barack Obama and his Republican opponent, Mitt Romney. More at the AP and see also:

A handful of stores and restaurants -- including Olive Garden and Blockbuster -- are rewarding voters today with little free items. See a list at the Palm Beach Post and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the Motley Fool. The Polk Museum in Lakeland offer free admission to voters.


Enterprise Florida in economic partnership with South African consulting firm
