Miami-based Max Borges Agency's client list would make any geek salivate. Web gift store ThinkGeek is a client of the public relations agency, as is technology superstore TigerDirect. So are tech staples such as accessories maker Griffin, hard drive maker Verbatim and Elgato, which makes TV tuners for computers. The agency exclusively represents "companies that make a cool product," says Greg Mondshein, director of marketing and business development. Max Borges founded the agency in 2002, but it wasn't until 2007 that he decided to drop all of his other clients and focus on garnering media mentions for consumer technology products. Between 2006 and 2009, revenue grew from $898,907 to $2.4 million. Last year, revenue reached $3.75 million, and it was up by 35% in the first half of this year, driven by more than 20 new clients.
