Florida exports up 6 percent

Florida exports for the first six months of the year were 6 percent higher than the same period last year, according to the International Trade Administration. Exports increased from $31.1 billion to $33.1 billion. The destinations that saw the greatest increases were United Arab Emirates (up 82 percent), Switzerland (28 percent), Venezuela (22 percent), Peru (14 percent), and Panama (10 percent). Publix testing digital coupon program

Publix shoppers in select markets are getting the chance to test a new digital coupon system. The free service allows customers to choose coupons from a Publix website and save them to an account. Hotel rates are on the rise, while international flight costs and and rental car rates have declined, according to new business travel data from Travel Leaders Corporate.
